FASD Prevention with Communities

The Mental Health Commission’s FASD prevention with communities workshop is a one-day event designed to: 

• Introduce FASD for community and regional stakeholders
• Plan community and/or regional FASD prevention activities 
• Build a FASD prevention network  
• Promote the Valuable Conversations for reducing the impact of alcohol use during childbearing years training event 
• Explain the FASD prevention funding program and opportunities*

Please note this workshop does not provide information on the diagnosis or treatment of FASD.
