Connection and belonging is essential for our wellbeing and good overall health

Healthy relationships with friends and family along with connection to the local community contribute to everyone’s overall wellbeing.  

Positive mental health and wellbeing enables you to function well, have meaningful social connections, positive self-esteem and be better able to cope with life’s ups and downs.

You may have already heard the following before, but it really does lead to a happier and more fulfilling life:

Act – Stay active: mentally, physically, socially, spiritually, culturally.

Belong – Keep connected to friends, family and your community.

Commit – Participate in activities that are meaningful to you.

How do I Act, Belong, Commit in the Shire of Augusta Margaret River? #

Margaret River and surrounding community are full of amazing opportunities to connect and enjoy social activities with likeminded individuals. 

There are opportunities to join groups, participate in sport, craft, singing, volunteering to name a few.  There are groups for young people, families, and senior citizens.
