Mental Health First Aid gives you the skills and confidence to support someone experiencing mental illness. This two-day course is designed for adults (18+) and is ideal for anyone who wants to make a difference.
Course outcomes
- Recognise the signs and symptoms early of mental health problems so you can intervene early
- Have the knowledge, skills, and confidence to have open and supportive conversations about mental health to effectively offer support
- Know how to respond in a crisis across a range of situationsÂ
- Reduce the stigma and increase support for adults living with and experiencing mental health problems

MHFA covers the symptoms and recommended interventions for mental health conditions such as:
- Depression
- Anxiety
- Psychosis
- Substance use

- Suicidal thoughts and behaviours
- Panic attacks
- Non-suicidal self-injury
- Aggressive behaviours
