For millennia, people have gathered to create; weaving, sewing and painting everyday objects while sharing stories and supporting each other and their communities.
Quilts tell stories of love, pain, grief, laughter and joy. They record the good times, and the struggles of the hard times. Quilts celebrate life events and build memories, create play and wonder and speak without words. Quilts can be both functional and an expression of our inner self and our creative endeavour.
