Training includes; the ‘Recognising and Responding to Opioid Overdose and Amphetamine Intoxication/Toxicity’ training; the harms and effects of drugs including new & emerging drugs; how to identify signs and symptoms of drug use; effective approaches in hospitality settings; de-escalation skills; administration of naloxone in the event of an overdose; targeting messaging and strategies to reduce drug related deaths and harms.
